How it works

From sign up to your next step

Here is what happens from the moment you sign up, and how Nexutor picks careers for you.

Step by step

  1. 1

Sign up with your access key

Nexutor is in early access, so you need an access key to sign up. Your school may give you one, or you can ask us for one.

  2. 2

Tell us a little about yourself

Your class or course, your stream and what you hope to do next. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian gives their consent here.

  3. 3

    Take the reasoning test

Short puzzles with logic, numbers, shapes and words. Do your best, and do not worry about getting everything right.

  4. 4

    Take the interest test

48 everyday activities, like drawing, fixing things or helping a friend. Say how much you would enjoy each one. There are no right or wrong answers.

  5. 5

Take the personality test, if you like

It is optional. It helps you understand how you like to work, and it never changes your careers.

  6. 6

See your results and career platter

You see what you enjoy most, and a platter of careers to explore, each with a reason it fits you.

  7. 7

    Ask the Career Assistant anything

Chat about your results, any career, courses, colleges in Goa or scholarships. It explains things in simple words.

  8. 8

    Share and plan

Download your report, invite a parent or school counsellor to see your results, and build a roadmap for a goal.

The three tests have about 140 questions in total. Find a quiet time, take your time and answer honestly. Your results are only as useful as your answers.

How we pick your careers

No magic and no guessing. Here is the idea in four parts.

Part 1

Your interest shape

Your answers to the interest test show what you enjoy most across six areas: hands-on, science, creative, helping people, leading, and organising. Together they make your interest shape.

Part 2

Every career has a shape too

Each of our 561 careers has its own shape, built from its NCERT career card and from research on what people in that job enjoy.

Part 3

Matching the two

Nexutor compares your shape with every career. A career only stays on the list if at least two activities you said you would enjoy relate to it. The best 20 become your shortlist.

Part 4

Building your platter

Nexutor picks a mix of different kinds of careers from those 20. An AI then writes a line for each using your own answers, and Nexutor checks every one.

Your reasoning test can move a career up or down a little, but it never removes one. Your personality test, gender, community, family income and where you live are never used to pick careers.

What your results mean

Your results show what you enjoy today. They are a starting point for exploring, not a label and not a prediction. Interests often change as you try new things, so come back and retake the interest test whenever you like.

Nexutor is not an admission decision, a diagnosis or a promise about any career. Talk your options over with your family, teachers or a school counsellor.

Common questions

Do I have to finish everything in one go?
No. Take the tests one at a time. You need to finish the reasoning test before the interest test, and the personality test is optional.
Will my careers change if I take the test again?
Only if your answers change. If you give the same answers, you see the same careers.
Is the reasoning test an IQ test?
No. It gives a broad band for four kinds of thinking, from one short test on one day. It does not measure how intelligent you are, and it never rules a career out.
Who can see my results?
You, and anyone you choose to link from your profile, such as a parent or a school counsellor. If you joined through your school, your school counsellors can see your progress too.
Can I trust what the Career Assistant says?
It answers from Nexutor’s career information and is built to say when it does not know. It is still an AI and can make mistakes, so check important details like fees and deadlines with the college or a teacher.
